IMPOVERISHED KNOWLEDGE ADVOCACY NETWORK, INC.

Our shared purpose and mission revolve around fostering unity and providing encouragement to marginalized communities through the means of education.

Income Equality

In the United States, the top 10% of earners hold over 70% of the wealth.

Gender Equality

Women are underrepresented in leadership positions in politics and business. For example, the average salary of a Black woman with a college degree makes $25,914, while it is $28,266 for a White man with only a high school diploma.

Education Disparities

In many areas, there are significant disparities in educational opportunities and resources between affluent and low-income communities.

Racial Disparities

In the United States, Black and Brown Americans are disproportionately affected by poverty, with a poverty rate significantly higher than that of White Americans. Also Black and Brown individuals are more likely to be arrested, incarcerated, and sentenced to longer prison terms compared to White individuals.

Environmental Injustice

Low-income communities and communities of color often bear a disproportionate burden of pollution and environmental hazards.

Healthcare Access

Access to healthcare services varies, with marginalized populations often having limited access.

We will address these issues and inspire our communities to find their own solutions to overcome the adverse impacts of systemic injustices that we have endured in our country and our communities.
